"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

-Margaret Mead

The Women’s Faculty Cabinet consists of tenured/tenure track women faculty selected to represent the diversity and range of disciplines of women faculty at the University. The Director of the Women’s Center serves as an ex-officio member of the Cabinet. Members serve for three years. Each year the Provost’s Office sends out a call for nominations for new members. Members may be nominated by deans, directors, department heads or faculty members of the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities (including through self-nomination).
