Center for Writing
The Center for Writing supports the University’s mission to improve writing across the curriculum in a more comprehensive way: it works directly with students learning to write, it supports instructors integrating writing into their courses, and it sponsors research into the theories and practices of writing, rhetoric and literacy.

Digital Media Center
DMC staff collaborates with collegiate and other central support units to promote the effective use of educational technologies and to support faculty members who use these technologies to improve teaching and learning. This site is a rich repository of online resources, includes self-assessment activities, and links to many University initiatives for technology enhanced learning.

Technology Enhanced Learning: TEL at UM
TEL at the University of Minnesota provides resources and support for the effective use of instructional technology for faculty, students, staff, and the citizens of Minnesota, with the goal of enhancing teaching, learning, and outreach activities on campus, around the state, and online. The TEL website includes links to a host of faculty and student resources for using technology in teaching and learning.

This website provides a variety of assessment resources for teaching first courses in statistics.

CARLA: Center for Advance Research on Language Acquisition
This site includes a Virtual Assessment Center with practical resources on developing second language assessments; the Minnesota Language Proficiency Assessments; and resources and publications on second language assessment development.

Collaboration for the Advancement of College Teaching and Learning
The Collaboration for the Advancement of College Teaching & Learning is a regional membership organization that supports and promotes outstanding college teaching and learning at public, private, and tribally-affiliated colleges and universities. The Collaboration offers programs and services that provide professional support and renewal for those who want to enhance student learning and participate in the collaborative, scholarly examination of instructional practice.
