John has primary responsibility for producing the annual University Plan, Performance, and Accountability Report and managing the associated Accountable to U Web site. He coordinates the development, review, and submission of academic program proposals for senior vice president/provost approval and Board of Regents review and final action. He also serves as liaison, manages, and provides oversight on all matters related to accreditation of the Twin Cities campus by the North Central Association's Higher Learning Commission. In addition, John monitors specialized accreditation and licensure affecting collegiate units and academic departments. He also provides planning, coordination, communications, and other assistance to University management. He serves on the steering committee of the Council for Enhancing Student Learning and is an ex-officio member of the Council on Public Engagement. Joining the University in 2002, John earned his B.S. degree in education from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas.
