Coordinator for Faculty Awards Jeremy Joe Hernandez is Coordinator for Faculty Awards in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs. Jeremy’s work focuses on faculty awards and recognition, including national and international awards, as well as University-sponsored teaching awards. He is the campus coordinator for the Committee on Institutional Cooperation’s CourseShare program, which facilitates sharing of specialized courses among member institutions via distance technology. Other projects include coordinating the Scholars Walk, working with the Academy of Distinguished Teachers, and developing programs for international faculty. Prior to joining the University of Minnesota, Jeremy served as a Lecturer and Diversity Faculty Fellow for the Higher Education Program at the University of Denver. His research interests include faculty and organizational development, governance, teaching/learning in multicultural settings, academic labor, and inter-institutional collaborations. Jeremy holds a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Jeremy joined the University in 2008. |
