Sandra's areas of responsibility include coordinating a technology literacy initiative, maintaining repositories of online training and other distance education; developing customized portal views, and assisting with research studies on the effective use of technology in teaching. She also serves as coordinator for the University's Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) project for all units outside of the Academic Health Center. Sandra has a B.A. in English from Carleton College and a master's degree in liberal studies from the University of Minnesota. She has worked at the University since 1996.
