Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost

Guggenheim Fellowship

The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation provides fellowships for advanced professionals in all fields (natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, creative arts) except the performing arts (see the Guggenheim Foundation website for details and history about this fellowship).

The following 84 current and former University of Minnesota faculty have received Guggenheim Fellowships while serving at the University. This list is based on information available on the Guggenheim Foundation Web site; Guggenheim Fellows are responsible for updating their own profiles, so affiliations and titles may not be current in some cases.  We are continuing to update this list as further information is available.
