McKnight Events and Initiatives
Since its establishment in 1991, the special events fund has helped bring dozens of important cultural and artistic events to the University campuses.
Awards in this category are typically between $10,000 and $20,000. Two or three awards are given each year (total award amount is $50,000). There is no specific application form, but applications are asked to follow the guidelines below. There are two rounds of applications each year (October and March), and applicants are expected to allow substantial lead time (six months to one year) before their event.
